City & Guilds 5 Day Plastering Award
The following City & Guilds course is available for those wishing to learn basic skills within the trade of Plastering.
The City & Guilds Plastering Course is designed to give you an understanding of the practical skills in plastering. You will be trained and assessed in two key areas, rendering and plastering skills.
This course is designed to provide you with plenty of general plastering knowledge to ensure that once you leave the centre you are confident in aspects of plastering. You will see progression from being a novice to a competent plasterer, building a portfolio of work as you go. This course is designed to build your skills gradually until plastering becomes second nature.
Two units will be studied over a period of 1 full week:
Unit 118 - Develop Plastering Skills
- Know the resources to apply plaster
- be able to prepare a background surface
- be able to apply plaster coats
- be able to clean up on completion
