Apprentice Awards Night
The date has been set, we will be hosting our first awards celebration on Friday 23rd September at the Shrubbery hotel in Ilminster. Celeb guests Chris Frediani and Jules Perryman from BBC's DIY SOS will be attending the event, along with representatives from our funding providers and local media. A buffet and a disco will be provided - tickets are available from the Chard Centre.

Heart Radio Campaign Launched
Train4All have today launched their Heart Radio Campaign in a bid to raise awareness of Apprenticeship opportunities at their training centres in Chard, Glastonbury and Yeovil. Listen to us on Heart Radio 102.6.

Congratulations to all of our Apprentices
A big congratulations goes out to all of our second year apprentices for completing their Level 2 Apprenticeship programme. Well done lads, you have worked your socks off over the past two years and now its time to celebrate! See you for your level 3! Also a big thank you to all of our employers for your continued support, we look forward to working with you for the forseeable future.

Train4All and Strode College join forces
Train4All are delighted to be working in conjunction with Strode College in providing Construction Training for learners within the Mid-Somerset region. We will be offering Bricklaying, Carpentry, Plumbing, Tiling, Plastering, and Maintenance Apprenticeships commencing in September 2011 at the Wirral Park Centre. New Centre Now Open!
With Glastonbury Centre now open, we have received an over whelming response from local learners and employers. As of today we have had 17 enrolments across all trades for apprenticeship programmes that will start in September 2011. We are expecting more following Saturdays Open Day a sure sign that a Construction Training Centre was needed within the Mendip region. Thanks to all that have supported us with this project.

The ideal candidate must possess their City & Guilds Level 3 but not neccessarily have qualifications or a background within Education. The Build is on!!!
The current South Somerset Apprentices from Chard are hard at work at Glastonbury. They are busy building office and rest areas, in readiness for the opening of the Wirral Park Centre on Monday!! It is great to see our current lads preparing the workshop for the future apprentices. Thanks for all of your hard work.

Christmas Do!
Thanks to all that made our Christmas Party such a joyous affair. We would like to thank the Shrubbery in Ilminster for a fantastic evening with delicious fayre and flowing drinks! A great time was had by all - Happy Christmas!

New Centre to Open In Glastonbury Early 2011
Due to an incerased demand for Construction Training within the Mendip region, Train4all are pleased to announce the opening of a new centre in early 2011. Courses can be booked now before the VAT rate rise, phone for an information pack.

Junction 24 Success
The Careers event held at Junction 24 Exhibition centre on Wednesday was a huge success for Train4All. The event was well attended by local learners from years 9 - 11, parents, careers and adults looking for career advice. Young people and adult learners enquired about apprenticeship training and the redundancy training packages available with a view to starting courses within the next month.

FUNDING SECURED
We are delighted to announce that Train4All have secured funding via Somerset Skills & Learning for Level 2 Craft Diplomas. City & Guild Diplomas are available in Brickwork, Plastering, Tiling and Carpentry and will be delivered on a part time basis at our Chard Centre from as little as £550.00 plus VAT. For further details on funding eligibility please contact the centre directly as spaces are limited.
