Bricklaying Apprenticeship

During your 2 year apprenticeship you will complete the City & Guilds Diploma in Bricklaying, gain your NVQ Level 2 and keyskills in numeracy and literacy. You will study topics such as:

• Safe working practices in construction
• Building methods and construction technology
• Interpret Drawings
• Set out masonry structures
• Thin joint masonry and masonry cladding
• Build solid walling, isolated and attached piers
• Build cavity walling
