Well done to our first group of Holyrood Academy learners who all passed their first unit end tests, a great achievement having only been on the course for 6 weeks!

2nd Years Finish!
Well done to all of our 2nd years, you have finally finished your Level 2 Apprenticeships after 2 years of coming to Chard!! Party to celebrate on Friday 23rd September at the Shrubbery!?!? Chris and Jules are coming from BBC DIY SOS to present your certificates.

Good luck to all of our apprentices that are competing at SkillBuild on Thursday 12th May in Taunton, lets retain some titles!! Also the best of luck to the team going to Swindon on 27th May to the Guild of Bricklayers competition, you have the talent, you have the skill, enjoy yourselves!
Plumbing comes to Glastonbury
We are delighted to be working with Strode College offering Construction Apprenticeships at the new Wirral Park Centre. In addition to established Bricklaying, Carpentry, Plastering and Tiling programmes, we will be offering a Pre-Apprenticeship full time Maintenance Diploma and also Plumbing Apprenticeships. Enrol now at Train4All or Strode College.
Somerset Apprentices Doing Well
Thanks to all the South Somerset Appretnices for all of their hard work in building the offices, restrooms and toilets over at the new Galstonbury Centre! You have worked really hard and it is looking fantastic! The Mendip Apprentices are very lucky!!
Apprentices Enrol
Well an update - we have been open for nearly one week and already have 17 learners wishing to start an apprenticeship in September, not even had our official enrolment and information open day yet (Saturday 12th Feb from 8 - 1!). Going to a busy year for us all at T4A !!
The Build is on!!!
Well done to the Chard Apprentices this week, they are hard at work at Wirral Park building the insides of the Glastonbury Centre which opens on Monday! I know they have been cracking the whip but it is all great experience!! Iam sure Mr KFC or Mr Subway have helped you out, not to mention the burger van!!!
Second Routeway course is underway!
Our Second Routeway to Construction course is underway at Somerset Skills & Learning in Parkway, Bridgwater. 8 candidates are attending the 3-day workshop in order to attain the British Safety Council Level 1 Health & Safety at Work Award and also their CSCS Health & Safety Card which will allow them access to work on site. Good Luck to you all taking the test on 5th November!
1st Years pass first tests!
Congratulations to the 1st Year Tilers: Adam Millett, David Hedderley, Nathan Warren and 1st year Bricklayers: Dan Durdle, Joe Kingman, Jason Phillips and James Beer on passing their first unit end test on Health & Safety - well done lads!!!
